ELOISE BAILEY (MRES): PROFESSIONAL DOG WALKER
Five years as a dog handler before starting Country Hound in 2019 has left Eloise experienced and confident with all dogs and situations, in particular she has worked with an abundance of puppies and young dogs. She is canine first-aid trained (last updated June 2023), DBS checked and has recently been awarded a distinction in MRes Anthrozoology; her main area of research being in dog behaviour and the dog-owner bond. Eloise is currently studying with the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers to further her qualifications and has so far completed their ‘Level 3: 12 Months Learning, Motivation & Reinforcement’ and ‘Level 4: 12 Months Behaviour Consultations & Functions of Behaviour’ correspondence courses and their ‘2 Day Career As A Dog Trainer’ in person practical course. She is currently studying their ‘Level 5: 12 Months Working With Canine Behaviour’ course.
JOSH JAKEWAY: PROFESSIONAL DOG WALKER
Josh has spent his life around dogs, training his own spaniels in gun dog and retrieval work. He gained over five years of invaluable experience as a dog handler before starting Country Hound in 2019, and is canine first-aid trained (last updated June 2023) and DBS checked. Josh has been particularly successful working with high energy dogs and in training impulse control. Josh has completed the IMDT ‘2 Day Career As A Dog Trainer’ in person course.
